Trout Creek Climbing Area: The 7-mile Trout Creek Trail and the Trout Creek Climbing Area start at the south end of the campground; columnar basalt cliffs line the trail upriver. The climbing area closes January 15 to August 31 for nesting golden eagles. (blm.gov)
